On 27.01.2014 we will load new software on our Jabber server which therefore will be not available in the morning. All content of group chats will be lost in the course. If you still need the content, please safe it beforehand! Additionally, all accounts that were not logged into for more than two years will be deleted. What is the purpose of the update?
With the successfull migration of our Etherpad service we will restrict the storage period of the generated Pads. Up until now all Pads have been stored without a date of expiry. But this does not serve the purpose of our service and has a similar effect as data retention. Therefore all Pads will only be available 30 more days after the last time they have been edited. Older Pads will be completely removed from the system. Furthermore you have the possibility to request the removal of a Pad.
On 27.12.2013 18:00 we will do maintenance work on our Etherpad service. The system will therefore not be available for several hours.
From tomorrow on (29.10.2013) the Jabber server has a new SSL certificate. This will be valid for two years.
